If you don’t have any idea who I am then you probably might be interested a little bit about what I do and why I started a blog.
Professionally, I’ve been an entrepreneur for the past 25+. You can check out my LinkedIn profile if you’re interested in that. I’m currently working on three projects – PulseOne, PulseOne Communications (in development) and RepScheduler.
Prior to getting into high tech, I was a professional chef, working in Los Angeles under chefs such as Joachim Splichal, Octavio Becerra, Joe Miller and Tara Thomas. I have a culinary degree from Los Angeles Culinary Institute (now defunct).
I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Film Studies. I worked for a while in Hollywood, before deciding I’d had enough of all that.
I was born in Phoenix Arizona, a love child of two high school students and adopted by a good family. I lived all over the country until I was 12 and then landed in Santa Barbara, CA. I’m a father of two boys (they would prefer young men, I’m sure). Married to a great wife and life partner.
I’ve written a couple of books with my friend David. You can check them out here.
I’m a professionally licensed soccer coach and Board Member at Santa Barbara Soccer Club. I support other groups in town such as the SB Alliance for Arts Education, Partners in Education and some other great non-profits.
I have a lot of interests and have tried and failed at a lot of things. I’ve had a few successes too. I’ll do my best to share what I’ve learned from all of it. Hope you find it helpful.
That’s pretty much it in a nutshell. Thanks for checking it out.
